Eco Yield
Organic Farm

Our story

Rooted in soil. Grown by hand.

Eco Yield began in August 2017 at Abrem Ankaasi in the KEEA District, with four sows, one boar and a few crop beds — and a simple belief: food tastes better when animals are raised humanely and crops are grown with care. Right here in Ghana, our family tends every flock, pen and pond by hand — guided by the rhythms of the season and a deep respect for the land.

What we stand for

Four values that guide every seed we plant and every basket we share.

Sustainability

Animal waste feeds our crops; crop residues feed our animals — a closed, low-waste loop.

Community

We employ locally and supply fresh eggs, meat and fish to nearby Ghanaian markets.

Integrity

Healthy animals, clean ponds, no shortcuts — quality you can taste.

Family

A family-run farm where every bird, pig and pond is known by name.

Our journey

From four sows to a mixed farm

Aug 2017
The farm begins

Eco Yield started at Abrem Ankaasi in the KEEA District with four sows, one boar and our first crop beds.

2018–2021
The piggery grows

Our small breeding herd expanded into proper pens, while seasonal crops kept the land — and the pigs — well fed.

2022–2023
Reaching the market

We began supplying pork and fresh produce to households, markets and restaurants around the district.

2024
Poultry & fish added

We opened our first poultry houses and dug tilapia and catfish ponds, turning Eco Yield into a full mixed farm.

Today
A thriving mixed farm

Pigs, poultry, fish ponds and seasonal crops — run from our offices at Abrem Agona and Kasoa Buduburam.

Discover Eco Yield

Everything that drives our farm

Explore the foundations, ideas and impact behind a Ghanaian family farm growing food the honest way.

Who we are

Eco Yield Organic Farm is a family-run mixed farm that began in August 2017 at Abrem Ankaasi in the KEEA District with four sows and one boar. Pigs and crops came first; poultry and fish followed in 2024. Our offices are at Abrem Agona and Kasoa Buduburam.

What we offer

Free-range eggs, broilers and layers, ethically raised pork, tilapia and catfish from our ponds, plus seasonal vegetables and staple crops — all grown and tended by hand right on the farm.

Where to find us

Our offices are at Abrem Agona and Kasoa Buduburam, open Monday to Saturday, 8am – 6pm. Visit the farm, stroll the ponds, meet the animals — and leave with a basket of something fresh.

Closed-loop farming

Animal waste fertilises our crops, crop residues feed our animals, and pond water nourishes the fields. Nothing is wasted — every part of the farm feeds the next.

Smart aquaculture

We monitor pond health, oxygen levels and stocking density to grow strong, healthy tilapia and catfish — without the chemicals or shortcuts of industrial fish farms.

Modern animal care

Spacious housing, clean water, and balanced nutrition mean healthier birds and pigs, lower disease risk, and food you can trust on your plate.

Local jobs

We hire from our community — poultry keepers, piggery hands, pond workers and growers — providing stable income and on-the-job training in modern farming.

Food security

By raising protein and growing crops side by side, we help keep fresh, affordable food on Ghanaian tables — reducing reliance on long supply chains and imports.

Greener land

Composting, rotation and natural inputs keep our soil alive — improving fertility year after year instead of stripping it bare.

Born from love of land

Eco Yield grew from a family dream — to farm honestly, treat animals well and serve our community fresh, real food. Every basket carries that intention.

Tradition meets tomorrow

We blend the wisdom of Ghanaian farming heritage with modern, sustainable techniques — proving good food and good practice belong together.

For the next generation

We're building a farm that lasts — one our children, neighbours and customers can be proud of for years to come.
